Springtime in Columbiana

Springtime in Columbiana Annual Schedule of Events
Area merchants host open houses and sidewalk sales. Street vendors set up along Main Street selling crafts, food, and other items.
Demonstrations by area quilters take place at the French Market with the City participating in an "Airing of the Quilts," located at 39 Cherry Street. The First Christian Church hosts a quilt show with over 70 quilts on display. Visitors between 10am and 4pm Friday and 10am to 3pm Saturday are treated to free admission. French Market Application.
The Women's Club hosts a Box Lunch from 11 to 2pm both days. A local Herb Club creates the meals as well as hosting a herb sale at the Women's Club. The herb sale will be both days 10am to 3pm.
A "Discover Columbiana" raffle takes place with tickets costing $5.00 and limited to 500. The prize package is worth over $1,000. The package includes one night accommodations for two, 18 Holes of golf, theater gift certificates, plus gift certificates from 26 other locations within the City. Drawing is held the Monday following the event. Tickets are available at area merchants in advance and throughout the Springtime weekend.
Those with a taste for crafting themselves can participate in a birdhouse decorating contest with winners in three age groups receiving a prize worth $25. Kits are available at Columbiana Antiques, Tourism Office or participants can create their own birdhouse. Entry fees are $5 per birdhouse.
